Hey friends —
Well, surprise! I'm back!
You may have noticed my business went quiet… that’s because my world got a lot louder when my oldest son started having seizures out of the blue. While my husband was deployed and couldn't come home. Isn't that how it always happens? Suddenly, I found myself in a whirlwind of late-night Googling, medical appointments, and wondering how to hold everything together. Overnight we were thrust into the unfamiliar world of Epilepsy.
While I quietly stepped back, that little camera of mine didn’t go far. It sat patiently—like a loyal friend—waiting for me to return when the time felt right. When my son and I both felt confident and settled and healthy.
That time is now.
Last week, I finally picked up my camera again. It was… a little cold, a bit nerve‑wracking, but undeniably invigorating. Like slipping into the ocean for the first swim of the summer—just starting with your toes, testing the temperature, and that rush when you realize, “Yes—I remember this magic.”
With each click, I felt that spark reignite: the joy of crafting stories through light, the soft glow of connection. Photography, for me, has never been just about churning out for photos for people. It's always been about serving a community I love. It's about connecting with people, sharing our stories while we're creating memories together. I've treasured every single client I've ever had. Photographing Ayana's sweet new baby boy, with a special appearance by his big sister, was no different.

If you’re thinking about planning a session—or just want to say hi—my inbox is open. I’m here, I’m ready, and I’m brimming with heart and excitement. Let’s create something magical again.
Here’s to fresh starts, brave hearts, and connection that reminds us why we keep creating.
With love,
Felicia
